A striking, 3-dimensional plate of gemmy, translucent and lustrous white grossular garnet crystals from the famous and now-closed Jeffrey Mine of Quebec, Canada. White grossular garnets from the Jeffrey Mine are VERY UNCOMMON and this is a superb one! The garnets have textbook dodecahedral crystal form. Nearly pristine, trivial periphery wear on the tip and lower, right side are barely discernable and are certainly not a detraction. Value??. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
