Item Description
Vibrant raspberry-red, sparkly, gemmy wendwilsonite microcrystals line several dramatically placed vugs in the sculptural quartz-rich matrix on this very showy, colorful and rich small cabinet from the Co-Type Locality of the Bou Azzer District. Wendwilsonite is a rare hydrated Ca-Mg arsenate and is a member of the Roselite Group. The crystals appear to have the characteristics of wendwilsonite, but have not been analysed to pronounce a definitive ID. From the Joe Lobell Collection of Oklahoma.
