Item Description

A very elegant, tapering, doubly-terminated crystal of this extremely rare species known at its best from a very few pockets at this cement quarry, which has incredibly strange chemistry and has produced a number of such rarities. This is one of the finer single crystals in this size range, I have seen. It is, remarkably, translucent. Most are opaque! The layered form of the lustrous, straw-yellow crystal looks like an urn with a striking white top! Ex John and Linda Stimson Collection. Valued at $750.
