This superb Weloganite consists of a straw-yellow, translucent, composite crystal with a "main" crystal and multiple smaller ones in parallel growth. The overall crystal is a pseudohexagonal, tapering prism with with deeply grooved and striated faces from attempted, and failed, pyramidal terminations ultimately topped by a pedion face. The complex crystallography of this rare hydrated sodium-strontium-zirconium carbonate results in an exquisite pagoda-style crystal. White Dresserite accents the complexity of the Weloganite crystal and there are a few very tiny Quartz crystals present. An outstanding example for the species without any damage!
