Item Description

This is certainly one of the weirdest, yet fascinating, calcite specimens we have seen from Irai! A myriad of nubby, popcorn-like, cream-colored calcite balls covers both sides of the thin large chalcedony matrix rib. The balls reach about 1.1 cm and the nubs are actually tiny calcite rhombs! A fantastically, two-sided piece, that is essentially pristine. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. A MUST for the locality or species collector!
