Item Description
Weird, well-formed, platy copper crystals form a dramatic and aesthetic, arborescent, CABINET specimen from the famed Emke Mine at Onganja. The sharp crystals have fabulous, iridescent coppery/golden patina and are further accented with darker cuprite. The diverging "branches" are formed by spinel-twins and the "leaves" are sharp, tiny, tetrahexahedrons. This striking, floater specimen looks great from either side. Older, very high quality and unusual material from this noted locale. Valued at $600-800.
