Item Description
Two stunning and bizarre pyramidal clay phantoms perfectly mimic the coated termination on this outlandish quartz specimen from the Diamantina area of Minas Gerais. The tapered, flattened, pseudohexagonal crystal is water-clear to tinted or coated with iron oxides. Complete all-around, the chipped back of the termination is nearly out of sight in the display view. One of the weirdest, very showy quartzes you will see from Brazil from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. A must for the quartz or locality collector.
