Item Description
Some of the most aesthetic and displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This specimen is from a recent find of this material. This piece features several golden yellow color, sphere-shaped radiating aggregates measuring up to 14 mm across associated with a prismatic gemmy Quartz crystal. The quality of the Wavellite spheres is good, especially when compared to finds from the last 15 years at Siglo XX. A nice display specimen of an uncommon mineral. Please note that the single Quartz crystal flaring out of the top of the specimen is contacted, and not fully terminated.
