Rich sea-green, lustrous, translucent bladed wavellite botryoids, to 1.3 cm, are richly and aesthetically strewn on the laminated shale matrix on this sculptural and excellent specimen from recent finds at Avant. Pristine, except for the trivial bit of periphery wear. Fine color, quality, form and size. Arkansas produces some of the finest examples of the species and this is a good one.
