Item Description
A fine example of rare bright lemon-yellow wavellite from the small 2007 find in Arkansas at this uncommon Arkansa locale, not from Garland County, where the green varietals come from. The striking cutie features the familiar botryoidal form with sparkly, acicular, radial crystals forming the balls - but in a very rare color for any locality that is only occasionally found here! The lower front edge and back reveals the diverging glassy wavellite needles along the vug edges. Ex Wes Parker Collection. Bright lime-green fluorescence!
