Item Description

Waxy luster, translucent pistachio-green wavellite botryoids fill a sculptural vug in novaculite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from finds at Avant, Arkansas. Individual botryoids reach 1.2 cm. The modest periphery wear reveals the nifty radial growth of the wavellite blades. Ex Joe Lobell Collection. This is a fine, uncommon and rich color for the species and locale and has several fine display views.
