Rich green color highlights this wonderful, exceptional and sculptural large wavellite specimen from this well-known Arkansas locale. The botryoids in the dramatic vug reach 1.3 cm and the broken botryoids on the periphery reveal the classic radial growth to the chatoyant acicular crystals, adding pizzazz. The blocky matrix is typical novaculite. Specimens with this striking fine green color, botryoid richness, size and overall aesthetics from Mauldin Mt. are rare. Valued at $1250-1500 and worth it.
