Item Description

This is a notably hard to find example of this obscure material from the Central Florida Phosphate Mining District. These interesting Wavellites are distinctive with their attractive color, form and crystallization. This piece features radiating spherical groups of beige/tan colored Wavellite measuring 5 mm on matrix. The Wavellite "balls" look beautiful up close, and we've done our best to illustrate them in the photos. If you collect phosphates, unusual locality pieces or minerals from FLORIDA, don't miss out on this lovely, seldom seen specimen.
