Item Description
Some of the most aesthetic and displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This specimen is from a new find of this material, and literally came out of the ground a few months ago. This piece features several cream color, sphere-shaped radiating aggregates measuring up to 8 mm across associated with prismatic gemmy Quartz crystals on matrix. The quality of the Wavellite spheres is good, especially when compared to finds from the last 15 years at Siglo XX. A nice display specimen of an uncommon mineral.
