Item Description
Some of the largest and most displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This piece features several, bright soft yellow color, slightly lustrous, radiating aggregates of Wavellite measuring up to 9 mm across which are perched atop coated prismatic Quartz crystals, which are actually gemmy inside. The key aspect to this piece is the fact that the luster better than most Wavellites from Siglo XX. A very attractive miniatures sized phosphate display specimen from this classic locality.
