Item Description
A lovely specimen of velvety / vitreous, RICH green colored Wavellite botryoids from the famous Dug Hill locality in Arkansas. Classic material, and certainly some of the most beloved Wavellite in the world for color. Typically, the spheres from this locality are broken / contacted because of the nature of the mining process and how the pieces formed. This piece has a central core of undamaged spheres, and the only real damage is around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Great quality and color! Wavellite is not often seen with such intense coloring, and the material from Arkansas is among the finest for the species.
