Item Description

Fine color, beautiful sea-green juicy wavellite botryoids line a sculptural vug in shale matrix on this excellent small cabinet from recent finds at Avant. The pretty dominating cluster is 1.6 cm across. The periphery wear reveals the striking bi-colored radial growth of the acicular wavellite crystals, adding pizzazz. A choice example of the color from this well-known Arkansas locale. The piece has several fine display views.
