Here we have big, attractive and showy specimen featuring shimmering, velvety, beautiful blue-green Wavellite botryoids from the famous Avant area in Arkansas. There are dozens COMPLETE unbroken spheres of Wavellite which measure up to 1.0 cm across. Despite some roughness around the periphery, most of the Wavellites are remarkably complete on the display side with great form. My favorite aspect of the piece is that the majority of the spheres are complete and not contacted, which is honestly not that common for this material. You'll see a lot of incomplete and just plain broken spheres of Wavellite from the various localities in Arkansas, so when you find an attractive piece like this with full complete spheres, it means something. Classic material, and certainly some of the most beloved Wavellite in the world for color. Valued at $1,250 for the coverage of mostly undamaged spheres.
