Item Description
This is a large "pocket piece" of gloriously sparkling wavellite with exceptional luster from a find by James Zigras in around 2010. These are not the biggest balls of crystals found here (those came out in the 1950s or before), but they DO have the most color saturation and natural luster that is shocking. This hand-sized specimen is interesting as it preserves a pocket intact, showing how they formed. Overall, with very minor damage and in excellent condition for so many crystals. Valued $1500.
