Item Description

An impressive, large and rich wavellite plate from the classic Arkansas locality - the quarries at Mauldin Mountain. Lustrous, translucent, juicy mint-green botryoids, some with a secondary wavellite overgrowth rich cover the sculptural shale matrix. The botryoids reach about 1.3 cm. Classic and excellent large Arkansas wavellite.
