Here we have a wonderful, attractive miniature sized display specimen of these beautiful and classic Wavellites from Avant, Arkansas. Wavellite has been found at many world localities, but the finest and most colorful specimens in the world are found in Arkansas. This piece features fine quality, lustrous, gorgeous green colored "balls" and radial "sprays" of Wavellite sitting on matrix. My favorite aspect of the piece is that most of the Wavellites are complete / unbroken spheres. You'll see a lot of incomplete and just plain broken spheres of Wavellite from the various localities in Arkansas, so when you find a piece like this with undamaged "balls", it means something. For reference, the largest "ball" measures 1.4 cm across, but is still contacted where it separated from the pocket wall.
