Wavellite (beautiful color)

A big, showy fine quality specimen of attractive green Wavellite botryoids from the famous Mt. Mauldin quarries of Arkansas. It's important to note that there are complete "balls" on this specimens are it's not contacted all over the place with a bunch of incomplete "spheres". The largest "ball" measures about 6 mm across. There are only a few spots of damage outside of the periphery where it was trimmed away from the pocket wall. My favorite aspect of the piece might be the gorgeous vitreous / velvety luster! Keep in mind that most Wavellite around the world is often white / yellow and this intense green hue is spectacular for the species. Classic material, and certainly some of the most beloved Wavellite in the world for color and the fact that you can find such impressive big cabinet sized specimens like this.
