A lovely specimen of Wavellite from the famous Dug Hill locality in Arkansas. The piece features a primary radial Wavellite which is partially contacted, but reveals its dark green (nearly black) "core". If you collect phosphates, US minerals or species from Arkansas, this is a cool specimen from a classic locality. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
