A well-placed 1.8 cm, sparkly apple-green wavellite botryoid with nicely laid out smaller wavellites presents a showy and sculptural plate from recent finds at Avant. The broken botryoid reveals the chatoyant radial growth of the acicular wavellite crystals, adding pizzazz.
