Item Description
Some of the largest and most displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This piece features a few attractive, beautiful pale orange-yellow color, semi-translucent, sphere-shaped radiating aggregates measuring up to 1.0 cm associated with Cassiterite and Quartz on matrix. A good quality Wavellite specimen from this famous locality. This specimen was collected in September of 2012, and would make a nice addition to a phosphate suite or a suite of specimens from the Siglo XX mine.
