Item Description

Some of the largest and most displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This piece features fine, lustrous, yellow/cream color, translucent, sphere-shaped radiating aggregate measuring up to 4 mm with gem clear Quartz crystal matrix. A good quality Wavellite specimen from this famous locality. This specimen was collected in September of 2008, and would make a nice addition to a phosphate suite or a suite of specimens from the Siglo XX mine.
