Mineral specimens from this obscure Pakistan locale are rare and are very seldom on the market. Beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, watermelon tourmalines with pink bases sheathed in green, olive-green mid-sections and black schorl terminations are jauntily set on a striking cluster of glassy quartz crystals with interesting, frosted terminations. The long elbaite is 3.2 cm and some of the quartzes are doubly terminated. A striking, 360-degree, aesthetic piece. Very nearly pristine, with only infinitesimal bruising to the tip of the capping quartz. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued at $1000-1250.
