Item Description

This is a beautiful polished slice of the famous "watermelon" Tourmalines featuring a defined outer green "rind" which transitions into a slightly colorless zone, surrounding the richly pink interior. My favorite aspect of the piece is that the outer "rind" is completely in tact and not broken or chipped up! Additionally, there are some little lilac colored crystals of Lepidolite Mica on the sides for a really nice touch. Watermelon Tourmalines from Brazil are about as classic as it gets. A good piece for any collector of this material. Also a great piece for jewelry / wire wrapping!
