Item Description
A most elegant combination from a New Find at this famous locale. The 4.8 cm watermelom elbaite is dramatically attached to the side of a two-sided, bladed cleavelandite "rose." The lavender lepidolite blades in the centers really make this cutie look like a flower! The light pink lower core of the of the elbaite is encased in gemmy, layered olive-green with the very dark green to black, opaque, pyramidal termination. A contact is noted on one face of the termination, where another crystal lay, but there is no damage, per se. A really beautiful and aesthetic combination from this find. Value?? We believe in the $750-1000 range.
