Item Description

Wardite is an uncommon hydrated phosphate with many of the world's finest examples coming from the famous Rapid Creek area of the Yukon, Canada. This very rich and excellent plate is covered with very glassy, translucent, greenish-grayish-brown, pseudo-octahedral crystals to 1.7 cm. An exceptional and very rich plate with only two bruised crystals noted in the interior and modest periphery wear, which has minimal impact to the high quality of this piece from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Classic wardite.
