Item Description
Wakabayashilite is a rare complex As-Sb sulfosalt, only approved in 1970. An impressive rich 4.5 x 3.5 cm, radiating spray of bright orange-yellow fibrous crystals is jauntily set on the sculptural contrasting blocky matrix. There is more Wakabayashilite on three sides as a bonus. While not the type locality, this Soviet-era Sb-Hg deposit is the most well-known locality for fine, large crystals in recent years (although it is still quite rare). A rich and rare specimen from the Phil Oswalt Collection. VERY rare on the market!
