Item Description
Wairakite is a rare hydrated zeolite and this rich and excellent miniature is from the Type Locality in New Zealand. Glassy, colorless, microcrystals fill a vug on one end of the matrix wedge. Rare material from the Type Locality and rarely available in this quality and richness. Ex American Museum and Eugene Carmichael Collections. The numbers match on the labels, by the way.
