Item Description

Vlasovite is a rare zirconium silicate, and the best known examples are those from the Kipawa Alkaline Complex in Quebec. It's an important mineral to rare stone collectors and certainly to anybody who collects rough and cut sets, as there is very little gem material available. This set features a rough specimen hosting translucent tan-straw colored Vlasovite in host rock matrix plus a small "Oval Brilliant" cut gem with nearly eye clean clarity and a soft golden color. A great set for anybody who collects rare minerals and / or gems.
