Item Description

A striking, beautiful, blocky, parallel-growth, cluster of bluish-green, prismatic, vivianite crystals is attractively set on the aesthetic, wing-like, matrix covered with sparkling, iridescent, brassy, pyrite microcrystals on this classic and excellent specimen from the 1980s finds at the famous Morococala Mine of Bolivia. The densely stepped-growth face on the frontal vivianite has a fabulous iridescent blue-green shimmer. This face reminds me of Wolodarsk heliodors. Backlighting highlights the partial gemminess and color saturation of the blades. Choice material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
