Item Description

Some of the finest vivianite specimens in the world came from the 1980s and 90s finds at this well-known mine. A classic parallel-growth cluster of tabular terminated crystals is aesthetically set on thin matrix covered with sparkly translucent golden-yellow siderite crystals. The lustrous crystals look purple to black under light, BUT backlighting reveals beautiful sea-green color of the translucent crystal tips above the matrix below. An excellent and showy small cabinet example of this famous material from the Raul Sanabria Collection. valued $950
