Vivianite w/ Quartz, Albite & Muscovite

Item Description

Vivianite is a rare species from Brazil, and large vivianite crystals of this quality and in combination are rare. This is an outstanding small cabinet from recent finds at this pegmatite. A 6.0 cm, pristine, doubly terminated, parallel-growth, translucent crystal with rich blue-green color is very aesthetically set on matrix. The water-clear, tabular quart crystal is a super accent and the matrix consists of albite, muscovite and small quartz points. Complete-all-around, this is a very elegant specimen from the find.
