Vivianite is a rare species from Brazil, and large vivianite crystals of this quality and in combination are rare. This is an excellent small cabinet plate from recent finds at this pegmatite. The parallel-growth, translucent crystals have rich blue-green color. The pearlescent muscovite rosettes and small field of sparkly pyrite microcrystals are a fine accent. This is a very elegant specimen from the find. Pegmatite vivianites are extremely uncommon worldwide and this is a large crystal and a good one for this locality. Valued at $1500
