Item Description
I have never seen a specimen of this material prior to this piece. This specimen is an odd representation of Vivianite featuring essentially massive, grey-blue colored coatings on the underlying matrix. It appears that this might have been a nodule that was cracked open to expose the Vivianite within. It's certainly not your typical Vivianite, but it's truly an interesting, unusual and eye-catching example of this well-known phosphate species.
