Item Description

Vivianite is a relatively well-known phosphate, but specimens are seldom found in the Yukon Territory. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece is filled with sharp, semi-lustrous, crystals of Vivianite on matrix. The largest Vivianite measures 1.2 cm. I have not seen many of these specimens on the market, so don't pass this one up. It's a very rich coverage of crystals, with good size.
