Item Description
This is a large miniature-sized "bowtie" of old and classic crystals of the phosphate vivianite, from Virginia of all places. We seldom see them for sale anymore, as this is old material from the 1950s-1960s (I have been told). I see them only in museums and old collections. This is a remarkably complete cluster, a floater with no attachments, and is such a rare specimen from Virginia or the USA at all, for that matter. Large miniature/small cab borderline in size, a significant historical piece from the Bill Panczner collection.
