Item Description

Mineral specimens are very uncommon from this obscure mine and vivianite specimens are RARE. A striking bowtie-shaped cluster of lustrous blades is nicely attached to a bit of matrix. Color and luster, combined with the slightly curving form, make this a really showy specimen. Some of the blades are highly translucent/transparent with glorious teal-blue and grass-green color and some are opaque. Very choice and rare two-sided vivianite with only modest contacting. There is very little actual bruising despite the size of the crystals. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection. Value??
