Vivanite from Huanuni has become increasingly difficult to obtain these days, and very little material has come out over the past decade. The phosphate zone at Huanuni hasn't produced much due to the fact that the miners are restricted from visiting this area to collect specimens. This particular specimen came out of Haununi in the early 1980's. The piece hosts a few thin, prismatic, sharp, lustrous, semi-translucent, very dark blue-black color, crystals off matrix.
