Item Description

Vivanite from Huanuni has become increasingly difficult to obtain these days, since the miners have little opportunity to "liberate" specimens for collectors. The phosphate zone at Huanuni hasn't produced much about 10 years. This particular specimen came out of Haununi in the early 1980's. It is a very unique piece, and one of the more interesting Vivianites I've offered from this mine in a long time. The specimen comprises fine, sharp, lustrous, deep green color, prismatic crystals in a "fan"-shape. Do not miss out on this classic display specimen, as this mine may never produce these Vivianites again.
