Item Description
Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that an entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality. This toenail size piece features a few doubly-terminated, relatively sharp, gemmy, blue green color, prismatic crystals of Vivianite measuring up to 3.1 cm long associated with botryoidal Limonite after Wavellite on matrix. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. A great little aesthetic display specimen from this world famous locality.
