Item Description

Here is a very fine old locality specimen of vivianite from from the renowned Siglo XX Mine of Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that an entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality. A striking, sharp spearpoint of beautiful, lustrous, emerald-green vivianite has glorious teal-blue highlights. The layered crystal is gemmy and nearly transparent. This material is rarely seen today and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. Ex Harold Urish Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
