Item Description
This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This miniature size piece features several excellent, very sharp, rather lustrous, gemmy, deep emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite with associated minor metamorphosed (silicified) Sandstone. I can't find any major damage of note, just a few small "rubs" but it's in superb condition. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems, so this one is a BIG deal for its condition. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality, because you just don't see such highly lustrous and sharp crystals of Vivianite like this.
