Item Description
The Vivianites from Tomokoni are inarguably some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens from any Bolivian locality. They are some of the sharpest, gemmiest and most LUSTROUS examples ever seen from anywhere in Bolivia. This small cabinet size piece is a good sized, stout, very sharp, lustrous, dark emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite with a bit of attached sandstone. It's important to note that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This crystal is in great shape compared to the vast majority of what was found, and the termination is not damaged, it just has some embedded sandstone. I have to stress how sharp and lustrous this piece is, especially when compared to other Vivianites from other mines in Bolivia. Originally priced at $1,000 in our inventory.
