Item Description
This is an excellent miniature size specimen and a hard to find matrix piece for the locality (most of the crystals are found off matrix from Tomokoni) hosting a beautiful group of good quality, lustrous, dark green, sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite measuring 3.2 cm long with sitting on silicified sandstone. The crystals pass light in certain areas, and the specimen displays beautifully as you can see. This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen from Bolivia as they are notably lustrous and sharp, which is honestly hard to find for the species. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. This piece is in great condition.
