Item Description
The Vivianites from Tomokoni are inarguably some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens from any Bolivian locality. They are some of the sharpest, gemmiest and most LUSTROUS examples ever seen from anywhere in Bolivia. This full-sized thumbnail size piece features a sharp, lustrous, dark emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite with a bit of minor attached Sandstone on the base. It's important to note that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. The main crystal on this piece is in great shape compared to the vast majority of what was found. I have to stress how sharp and lustrous (and often gemmy) the crystals from Tomokoni are, as there are lots of localities for Vivianite in the world, but not many with crystals of this quality.
