Item Description

This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This toenail size piece features a VERY sharp, highly lustrous, GEM quality, deep emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite with minor associated metamorphosed Sandstone. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down. Keep in mind that over 75% of the specimens from this find have had SERIOUS damage problems. The main crystal on this piece is in great shape compared to many I have seen. I have never seen specimens of this quality, color, luster and gemminess before, not only from Bolivia, but virtually any world locality.
